Designed to support a busy lifestyle of travel, business, and family, this substantial extension was created to enhance both the functionality and enjoyment of an already impressive home.
The project included the addition of a bespoke library, private home cinema, kitchen, and wine cellar. Expanding an already grand residence while maintaining cohesion and quality was central to the brief.
The client envisioned an expansive executive-style library and premium theatre space. Featuring wall-to-wall bookshelves and recessed coffered ceilings, the library delivers a refined and timeless atmosphere.
Constructing a fully soundproof cinema directly alongside the library required careful acoustic design, allowing complete peace and quiet in one room while a true cinematic experience unfolds next door.
Externally, we designed and built a striking outdoor entertaining area, complete with a large exposed aggregate concrete patio, built-in outdoor fire, pergolas, and a Kwila timber balcony.
We are also currently renovating the remainder of this substantial family home, including a new main kitchen, oak flooring, three bathrooms, new windows, and a full exterior repaint.
